Run, Jump, Throw Program

The Run Jump Throw Program: Building Foundational Athletic Skills in K–12 Students

The Run Jump Throw program is an evidence-based athletic development initiative designed for school-aged children from Kindergarten through Year 12.

It focuses on three foundational movement patterns—running, jumping, and throwing—which underpin most team and individual sports.

These activities assess movement competency, coordination, lower- and upper-body power, and overall athletic potential.

Each student completes standardised performance assessments analysed using AI-powered motion analysis through the VueMotion app. This ensures every result is objective, accurate, and repeatable.

Each student receives a personalised Movement Quality Report Card, which includes:

- Key metrics across sprinting, jumping, and throwing

- An overall movement quality score

- Peer-group benchmark rankings

- Identified strengths and areas for development

- Actionable recommendations for improvement.

VueMotion streamlines video capture, assessment, and feedback, enabling teachers and coaches to track progress over time while fostering a culture of physical literacy and lifelong athletic development.
